Therefore, when opening an account you must provide your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. Gabriel Gibs was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1936. He came to the United States in 1957 as a college student. Initially, he attended the University of California at Berkeley as a chemical engineering major, before he moved to New York. He received a B.S. degree in Chemistry in 1963, at what is now the City University of New York (CUNY). He has also received a M.B.A. degree in Finance from Pace University in 1974. The principles of his MBA thesis, titled "Forecasting Stock Trends By Volume Analysis", has been the foundation of the Volumetric Fund's trading system.
After graduation Mr. Gibs' first job was a chemist in the Lederle Division of American Cyanamid Co., since acquired by Pfizer, in Pearl River, New York. Then, from 1968 to 1975, he worked for St Regis Paper Company, now part of International Paper, as a chemist. During these years he became very interested in the stock market as a hobby.
Between 1975 and 1986 he was employed in various capacities by Lonza, Inc., a chemical company in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. He started Volumetric Fund in 1978, as 17 co-workers, friends, and relatives invested their money in the new investment club. In 1986, as Volumetric kept growing, Mr. Gibs left Lonza to manage the fund full time. In September of 1987, Volumetric Fund went public.
Mr. Gibs has served as a Portfolio Manager and Chairman since inception. He served as CEO from 1978 to April 2016.
Mr. Gibs has been a guest on various television and radio shows and was interviewed numerous times for newspaper articles. He is also the President of Volumetric Advisers, Inc, the Fund's investment adviser. Mr. Gibs is married and has two children and four grandchildren.

Irene J. Zawitkowski
CEO, Senior Portfolio Manager
Irene Zawitkowski was born in 1953 in New Jersey. She has a B.S. degree in Accounting and received an MBA degree in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1978.
Ms. Zawitkowski was working at Lonza, Inc. as an accounting supervisor in the mid 1970s. She assisted Mr. Gibs in setting up Volumetric in 1978. She has been an officer of the Fund since inception. She served as President and Portfolio Co-Manager from September, 2003, to April 2016. In 2016, Ms. Zawitkowski was appointed CEO and Senior Portfolio Manager of the Fund. She is also Executive Vice President of Volumetric Advisers, Inc. Ms. Zawitkowski is married and has two children.

Jeffrey Gibs was born in 1966 and raised in New York. He attended Monmouth University, where in 1988 he earned a B.S. degree in Business with concentration in Computer Systems.
Mr. Gibs has over 26 years of experience in the financial investment industry. He began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank (now J.P. Morgan Chase) in the global custody area for the U.S. Private Banking Division. Mr. Gibs had worked several years for two separate investment advisers, managing their back and middle office operations and as compliance officer. Most recently, he was Vice President and manager of a hedge fund administration group at US Bank. In addition to these companies, Mr. Gibs has served as a consultant to Volumetric Fund since 1988 and was employed full time as Vice President from 1997 to 2001. He has served as Volumetric Fund’s Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Vice President since 2007.
In 2015, he became a full time employee again. From 2015 to 2016 he served as Executive Vice President and in 2016, he was appointed as President and Portfolio Co-Manager to Volumetric Fund. He performs a vast area of responsibilities in the areas of operations, accounting, shareholder relations, compliance and marketing.
Jeffrey is the son of Gabriel Gibs, Founder and Chairman, of Volumetric Fund. He is married with two children.
